    Hi guys!

I’ve always been into war novels and such, lots of end of the world/ apocalyptic style books.

I’ve always enjoyed the references/comparisons/analogies used by authors to major world events in history. It makes me wish I knew more so my perspective and understanding about current events could be better!

I do not have preferences on what the history books may be about, whether war or political, world history or books about the United States! I’m up for anything!

Thanks you guys (btw I really am just diving into historical books n such so bare that in mind)

Dynasty by Tom Holland is a really good start for early Imperial Rome, it’s easily accessible for someone who doesn’t know much or anything about Ancient Rome.

I also enjoyed The Great Cities in History by John Julius Norwich

I recently read Snow Wolf by Glenn Meade. If you like historical fiction, spies and the Cold War, then I think you’ll like this book.
