I want to learn more about the history of the family in general and how it evolved over time in different cultures, role of each member, laws around family, etc.
The only books I could find are kinda old. One is called Family and Civilization by Carle C. Zimmerman that was originaly published in 1947 and one called A History of the Family, Volume I and II by Andre Burguiere from 1996.
Please, non-fiction book.
