Book suggestions for a teenager trying to get into reading?

Hi everyone! My grandmother recently gave me an older kindle she had and didn’t need. I was wondering if there are any books that I should look at that are generally well-liked. I do not know what genres I enjoy as I havnt read anything that wasn’t required by a class since about elementary school, lol. I know this request might be a little tricky but any suggestions are welcome! However, im not looking for a super cheesy romance book.

Also, any book suggestion that’s free on amazon or with prime reading would be great! That’s about all I have access to. Thanks!
