Hey all! I’m in a very small book club that consists of just me, my mom and my sister in law lmao. We’ve only read one book so far – The Women by Kristin Hannah, which my SIL chose. I liked the book although it’s not the type of book I usually read!
Anyway! Now it’s my turn to choose a book. I want to find something that my mom and SIL will enjoy, but also that I will enjoy, since I tend to read different types of books than them.
They tend to read Kristin Hannah and Colleen Hoover type books. I tend to read Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, John Steinbeck type books. Some of my other favorites are Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, Wuthering Heights, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. I’m currently reading The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.
Could you fine people suggest some books that would appeal to all three members of this very exclusive book club??
