What kind of poo did I just read? I’m super glad I didn’t pay for this book, I read it via Kindle Unlimited, but ugh. Frieda McFadden wrote one with a very similar storyline of the-protagonist-did-it, but went through the entire book writing like protagonist was just as clueless as everyone else.
Author wants me to believe the wife/lawyer killed her husband’s mistress while he was sleeping next to said mistress, both drugged and in a deep sleep, but husband wakes up & doesn’t realize she’s been stabbed 37 times? There’s even a couple lines indicating the dude sticks his fingers into her vagina. And I’m to believe we still can’t tell she’s dead? Annoyed I wasted my time with this one.

LOL I was wondering how he didn’t hear/feel/see anything too. But then again, I’ve never been drugged before, and I’ve watched a LOT of Law & Order to know it can happen. lol
But my thing is, I’ve never woken up in bed next to my husband and not looked at him or listened to him breathe/snore for a sec. I definitely give him a peck before I leave… the behavior was definitely odd… I mean…. He did fondle her, but didn’t look at her or sense anything strange?
