Just finished reading Cory Doctorow’s The Bezzle, the second in the Martin Hench series, where the hero is a forensic accountant. Now I would like to read more stories where the hero has a nominally “uncool” or “unexciting” profession, like accountant, DMV clerk, postman, etc, but it’s precisely their having said profession what drives the plot of the story.
