Randomly picked up Home Before Dark a couple of months ago and have been on a Riley Sager kick. Unfortunately, I’m almost done with his books. Any suggestions for authors similar to Riley Sager?
What is it about Riley Sager’s writing that you like? If you’re into the less intense horror, you could try Simone St. James’s new stuff (Sundown Motel, Book of Cold Cases, etc). Her first few books are all set in the 1920s and are very light horror with romance, but her later stuff is more modern. You might also like Grady Hendrix – My Best Friend’s Exorcism and Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires are both great.

Taylor Adams – No Exit and The Last Word

Yes I second Grady Hendrix

I like Riley Sager too! I’ve enjoyed Lucy Foley and Ruth Ware as well, although they are both British.
