I started uploading our book club reviews onto a website I have created. The reason for this is because I ALWAYS wish there was a comment section I could visit every time I read a book. Other people sharing their opinions is how I process my own.
With a lot of these more modern books that we have been reading, there is often very little discussion I am able to find online. I am trying to do my part by adding my voice to the zeitgeist whenever I can.
Basically, this is my official new favorite book. I have been going through a real pirate phase lately. I'm definitely a romantic and Enger's prose style scratches that itch for me. My favorite kind of stories are hero's journeys, so this hits the nail on the head.
