Hello guys! What book would you recommend about the history of the United States of America, from start to the present.

For clarification I would like to read a more informative book. Like an encyclopedia or a school textbook, but one that has understandable, not too complicated text and pictures (maps, schemes, spreadsheets etc.) that help to understand the topics better. Any recommendations?
