I have been looking for a book series that has some more mature scenes in it, some sex, some dark tones etc. but not just smut/romance books. What led me to this thought, was remembering some series I liked from my childhood, like Redwall, Eragon, Edge Chronicles, Rangers Apprentice, and those kind of books that offer kind of an “escape”. The Silo Series I read recently and was great, but it still was pretty light in terms of its adult themes and such.
With that being said, are there more adult themed book series’ like that? Ones that have captivating stories, with adult/dark themes?
