I have read so many of them and I would really like to read one that makes one’s head spin. I’m currently reading Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough but so far I have read:
The Silent Patient (I absolutely **hated** it)
The Housemaid, The Housemaid’s Secrets and most other books by Freida McFadden (some of which I loved and some of which I hated)
Gone Girl (Loved it)
Sharp Objects (Loved it at first but found it very predictable as I’m very familiar with MSP, also lazy plot twist at the end)
The Last Mrs Parrish (it was way too long and nothing happening throughout the first 65% but after that I loved it)
The Wife Between Us (LOVED it)
Local Woman Missing (Liked it, didn’t love it)
The Girl on the train (Loved it)
Behind Closed Door (Loved it)
The Breakdown (Liked it)
Bring Me Back (HATED it)
Verity (Liked it)
The Good Girl (Hated it, too long and slow and racist, pathetic plot twist)
I tried reading Mystic River but I just can’t stand all the amount of internal monologue. Stopped reading at 16%, wondering if I should try and finish it.
