I just finished reading The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, I initially set it aside because I thought it was too "political" for my personal reading habits, but after reading a couple of chapters I never stopped.
Finding it interesting, I thought I'd open this discussion to look for similar ones.
Leaving aside the evaluation of the individual laws extracted by the author which may not be acceptable,
the whole series of historical events described as examples make for a very intriguing read.
Biographies of historical figures are often recommended for gaining important lessons, but personally I find them boring, which is why the book amazed me.
I'm sure you know similar books, thanks.
