    SPOILERS for REQUIEM!.

These games have permanently changed my life, I love Amicia, I love Hugo and Lucas. The enviroment of the late 1300s early 1400s, plagues and all- but most importantly, the bond Hugo and Amicia have. I feel so much love for Hugo, truly in Requie Amicia's desperation, unwillingness to accept that Hugo must die, everything- I felt the same way, all the way through. Having to be the one to kill him was so horrifically painful, but I understood why, and I really loved it. I really loved them as characters. I'm replaying innoence and reqiuem sort of… as a requiem to King Hugo. I want more time with them alive together, happy, I want it all back.

I've been replaying the games and I have a desperate, gnawing hunger for literature that has similar themes of an older sibling or figure protecting, caring, killing for the other. The dynamic is so addictingly bittersweet and I'm really hoping there is similar content, I assume the Last of Us is akin to it from what I know of the story, so I suppose anything in those big regions.

I also really love medieval fantasy and specifically low magic fantasy like A Plague Tale, but any setting gets supreceded by any novel with a similar bond that Amicia and Hugo have.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope this isn't an unreasonable task D:
