Info: Original Post on r/books got deleted
Just as the title says, I am searching for books based on videogames or having the Same vibe, without the need of ever having played the "original" or having any knowledge about the series.
Why do I ask:
In my youth I read tons of books (even won second place in a book reading contest in my town) but sadly stopped around hitting puberty.
Video Games took the place of reading.
But now i have the feeling that gaming gets less enjoyable so i want to get back to reading (of course I am thankful for every recommendation, doesnt have to be Just game based books)
My thought process was that maybe starting with books based on videogames would be a great way to rekindle my interest in books.
Authors i like (or at least liked when i used to read a lot):
Eoin Colfer (not the Artemis Fowl books),
Andreas Eschbach,
Timmothée de Fombelle,
Anthony Horrowitz
Books i am already aware of:
The witcher series,
Star Wars the old Republic books
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.
PS: bought an ebook-reader (Pocketbook Era) so it would be great if the books are available as ebooks
Sorry, I am on the mobile app and the layout ist really weird
