My fiance and I have always been very close with our nephew even living with him for a year, sadly we've had to make the hard decision to move away from him and the rest of our families in search of a brighter future for ourselves.
Our nephew already gets upset when we don't get to see him often enough (in his opinion) and gets upset whenever we say goodbye ("more "Valadhiel!!"") so we're looking for a book suggestion that we can give him when he sees us off at the airport to help him understand that we love him and we're just really far away for the time being.
As well as book suggestions I'm more than open to ideas on what I can write in a picture book full of photos for him of us doing fun things together that he can read as a story with him as the little star.
We know it's going to be a tough transition for him to go from seeing us all the time and video chatting all the time to only being able to video chat especially after another family member recently passed away so we're looking for any and all book suggestions and any advice on how to make this as easy as we can for him.
