I have two boys, 12 and 8. They are getting really interested in space and all the ins-and-out of it. So far, I’ve read to them:
- The Martian by Weir
- Project Hail Mary by Weir
- Astrophysics for Young People in a Hurry by NDT
… and a million Eyewitness-style nonfiction educational books.
Fiction or nonfiction, not picky that way— just not boring (for me or them) and age-appropriate.
Some I’ve considered: Ender’s Game and Hitchhiker’s Guide. But it has been forever since I’ve read them. I was maybe 14 when I read them, and don't anything stands out to me as too inappropriate?
