Hello! I am currently reading 33 Revolutions Per Minute by Dorian Lynskey and I recently finished Escaping the Delta by Elijah Wald. I have enjoyed making playlists to go along with these books and love listening to the tracks that influenced the more modern music I listen to.
I am interested in reading books that describe the evolution of music overtime. I'm open to books describing any genre, but I am mainly looking for jazz/rock/folk histories.
Since I play guitar, I'm also open to any books that describe the change in function of the guitar of an instrument overtime, guitar/recording technology, playing style, etc.
