Maybe it's because this is the first romantic book I've read, but I liked it.
Plot
It's simple. Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham make a deal. Hannah helps Garrett pass the exam, and he will set her up with a handsome guy she is in love with.
It's very simple, but it's very well served. There were a lot of funny moments here, dark and sad, and it doesn't look like a mess. The author knows what the scene should be like at one moment or another.
Characters
Garrett Graham turned out to be a pleasant character. He acts like an idiot sometimes, but he's kind, understanding, collected and doesn't act like an asshole.
Hannah Wells is moderately cheeky, funny, smart and she's just sweet.
And I like their love line. The author does not make their relationship toxic, they support each other and it is clear that their love is built not only on sex.
Text
It's light, the descriptions are good, and I like it when the authors divide the chapters into pov from some character.
I liked this book. It's easy, the characters' relationships were sweet, the plot is simple but good. I repeat, I haven't read a romance book before, so maybe that's the point.
