Hey! Sorry to bother yall but I’ve recently taken a liking to dark non fiction books. I actually finished a book called “Big book of Pain- torture and punishment through history” which was a fun read, and I’m starting to read “The rape of Nanking” which … wow. I’m wondering if by any chance there is a book specifically how radiation affects the human body (idk I just find the topic interesting) or just books that talk about super dark stuff (I hope that makes sense?) thank you ☺️!

Dark Harvest by Bill Schutt? It’s all about creatures that drink blood.
Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach
One of my favorite authors of all time! She goes into what happens to our bodies after we die. It is actually quite funny/lighthearted at times.
The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women by Kate Moore
She tells the heartbreaking story of young girls who worked with radium in factories (making glowing watches) and the cancer it caused after.
