Last night I finished this book in one sitting. It’s not something to brag about but it’s a first for me.
By the end of the book I was a mess. I felt like I’ve lost something and there is a hole in my chest.
Johnny didn’t make me cry, Dallas did. Poor Dally, even now I can’t think of him without choking up.
So, S.E. Hinton wrote this at the age of 16? My God that’s even more impressive.
