I went through a bukowski phase in my mid 20’s but have somewhat outgrown that. I’ve hit a major rut in my life, and am looking for a book that’ll help me with motivating myself to reach my goals, after years of working hard with no results. Preferably not a self help book or a man’s search for meaning.
Thanks!

THE FOUNTAINHEAD.
Here’s the singular book that motivated me to run a marathon at age 52. I have a dozen others we can talk about, but start here and tell me what you think.
*The Comfort Crisis* –Michael Easter
Willeford’s _The Shark Infested Custard_
I don’t have a rec, I just wanted to say that you’re doing great in more ways than you can see and you’re definitely not a failure. I hope things get brighter for you
