I like Louise Penny, Tana French, and Elly Griffiths. I like books set in an appealing or distinct location (love Three Pines in Louise Penny book), want somewhat “literary” (more so than the cat/bakery type of mystery) but not tooo bleak.
I’d like to avoid the topics of miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, infant death or really any pregnancy-heavy storylines. It’s hard to filter for that!
