Are there any YouTubers who record themselves reading books? kinda like how some podcasts are now.

I can’t do audiobooks because I need to see the words but I can also get tired of staring at a bunch of words on a page. Basically, I want to watch something more interactive on my tv that isn’t Gilmore Girls for the millionth time.

I’m mainly interested in classic literature a la Hemingway, Kafka, Plath, Fitzgerald, Joyce. I do not like romance, science fiction, or fantasy. And I’m not a huge fan of mystery/thriller books a la Colleen Hoover.

I don’t know how to even search for something like this so any insight is helpful!

    1. Reminds me of the old PBS show Cover to Cover (I think that’s what it was called). Guy would read the story while drawing illustrations for it. This isn’t a helpful comment, but I get the niche you’re trying to fill.

The only people I’ve seen reading books are asmr creators, but I doubt you’d find the specific books you want.

Do you play video games at all? You could play some easy games while listening to audiobooks if you need something interactive to focus your brain on at the same time?
