So I was an avid reader as a teenager and somehow let go of my habit. Finally, after 4-5 years I’ve been able to get hold of my reading habit in the past couple of months and here are the last couple of books I’ve read:
– Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
– The Children Act by Ian McEwan
– Pet Sematary by Stephen King
– The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
– I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
– Gujarat Files by Rana Ayyub
Now I’m really wanting to start something on Greek Mythology and don’t want something that’ll be a very heavy read. Please suggest me some books you love on Greek Mythology for beginners.

Natalie Haynes’ A Thousand Ships!
Not directly tied to Greek mythology but it does feature Greece (and since you have Murakmi on your list), I recommend Sputnik Sweetheart. It’s an easy quick read and good to get into if you’ve been away from the habit for a while.
I also recommend Greek Lessons by Han Kang (which shares some vibes with The Bell Jar imo). I read this one in a day and it wasn’t too daunting.

Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie
Tours of the Black CLock by Steve Erickson
or “John Dies at the End” by Jason Pargin/David Wong
Circe by Madeline Miller – it’s a retelling of many of the myths, and I loved her take on it. She’s also done ‘Song of Achilles’, but it’s still on my reading list.
