This is for anyone familiar with Kdramas. I just finished Lovely Runner last week and honestly, I am soo sad. I cannot get over this drama and its like in my top 5 now. I didn't expect to love it so much and I didn't plan on watching it but I'm so glad I did. I really just want a book that's just like it or at least similar. I just loved the balance of comedy as well as more emotional scenes. Honestly, more than the plot what I loved most about LR was the chemistry and emotional connection between the characters as well as the overall vibes of the show. For example, I loved how nostalgic it felt and I really just love shows and books that kinda center around youth whether it is set in high school or college, like a coming-of-age story. There was also something very comforting and healing about Lovely Runner, it's literally my ultimate comfort show now. While these aren't books, the webtoons Seasons of Blossom and Back to You have similar vibes. Honestly if you don't have any book recs, webtoon and manga recs will also work.
PS: Not a need but a want because I would also love it if the male lead is as big of a whipped loser as Sung Jae is.
