I’ve been planing on getting into getting romance books again. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. I was curious if anyone would give me a couple of recommendations, where one of the books has a sad ending and the rest are happy endings. Preferably not stated which one is which, so I can figure it out as I read them. I’m okay with spice and most genres, but preferably no historical fiction books. Lol sorry this is long! Thanks!!

Have you read Bet Me by Jennifer Cruise? It works like a rom com. The writing is top notch too!
I don’t read this genre but my mother does and she absolutely loves the books I buy her for Christmas. Her favorite author is currently Susanna Kearsley and her favorite book (so far) is The Winter Sea.
