So, it’s been quite some time since I stopped reading, and I’d only ever read YA genre when I was a teenager. I have a terrible attention span now. I’m a 23 year old woman and I’ve recently been through a failure career wise. I have realised I have a lot of issues (like attaching my self-worth to my achievements and academics, have a lot of self-doubt, issues focusing on work) and they’re cropping up because of this failure. I have resumed therapy to help me cope with those issues. I have some time off and I want to use that to recalibrate in could I don’t know what I’m thinking but I wish I coulr find books that make me take a step back and explain to me that it’s okay. Books that may feel like a warm hug. Probably that have relatable characters.

I know it’s a long post, but any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you so much.
