my mom suggested that we should create a book club with just the two of us, and i have a few in mind but maybe there are better ;
my taste (22f)
– “A Little Life” by Hanya Yanagihara
– “Breasts and Eggs” by Mieko Kawakami
– “Grotesque” and “Out” by Natsuo Kirino
– The “Twilight” series
– Matt Haig
– “They Both Die at The End” by Adam Silvera
– Sally Rooney
my momma’s taste (48f)
– she likes colleen hoover (i would prefer not to read her books, but if there’s any author similar please suggest!!)
– “Fourth Wing” and “Iron Claw” (i read both and they were good, but i tend to cringe a lot when seeing romance overdone LOL but i still enjoyed it :3)
– she really enjoys “beach reads”; easy to read and usually romance.
– “Yours Truly” by Abby Jimenez and books like that
– “Twilight” (like mother, like daughter)
i don’t mind reading about romance/sex but i am usually not a fan of YA romance novels. i can easily ignore that stuff if its not every chapter haha
she is currently reading “A Little Life”, after i begged her to and she is really enjoying it (…i am going to hate seeing her read the end i think.) and Yanagihara’s writing.
