So, I watched Wendigoon’s video on ‘I have no mouth and I must scream’ and I’m very interested in reading books/literature. It made me realise how much media and stories I’m missing by not doing so. Purely just based on the concept.
It might just be the books I’ve read at school but no books have ever got me really interested. I’d like something where the characters are well developed, books I’ve read have characters left very one note.
I’m open to any setting, love a good Cyberpunk setting though. Just something, different from my own life and alien. I want to read books to see into another world not my own yfm.
In contrary to the last paragraph, I’m going through an extremely hard time, so (you don’t have to) but I’d like something relatable. Themes of despair, self-destruction, regret with a silver-lining of hope and romance would be nice.

Well you can always jump in and read some Harlen Ellison, you could even start with, I Have No and I Must Scream if you haven’t read it yet. Fahrenheit 451by Ray Bradbury is a favorite of mine, also look into Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (think of the movie Bladerunner.) or A Scanner Darkly by Philip K Dick ( his other works are amazing also!) Hope this helps, and wendigoon is really covering some great topics!
