Hi, I'm looking for advices… I'd give a book as a gift to an elderly person whose birthday will come soon and: he has read many books and has books of most varied subjects at home; he knows most of the authors of "classics"; he has loved all history from greek and roman antiquity to the 20th century and philosophy (and rejects philosophy which is close to Christian religion); he also has read books on physics; his hobbies and habits revolve around gardening, chess and tennis (but I don't feel like getting him a book entirely on tennis or one on chess because he already has them). What do I do??? About his taste in literature, Marquez is his favorite author. He knows little about Asian literature, Japanese literature, etc., so a japanese author could be a good idea… I feel lost. Thank you
