I’m not sure if “sondering” is the right word, but I love the imagery of children dreaming of their future in a grassy field. I like how overwhelmingly vast yet small the world of Little Women feels.
I vaguely remember learning that American 19th century literature was big on simplicity and nature, so maybe that’s what I’m looking for as well. I find alot that century pretty interesting. I’m open to reading about any time period, but I find that I’m really enjoying historical fiction. I’m not looking for more children’s books, but if you really want to recommend one I’ll check it out.
