The Lemon Tree Hotel: by Rosanna Ley and Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter. Both set in Cinque Terre. Lemon Tree Hotel is a great read if you stay in one of the old villages. It’s romantic but also explains the history of the 5 villages (there are actually 7 of them but 2 are not famous but they are much more authentic and beautiful even though there is mostly no phone signal or functioning electricity…
