English is not my first language, I've been practicing my reading skills lately, the books I've tried so far are both classics and romance books. I look for recommendations everytime I finish my current book, and one title that often appears is Lonesome Dove, I have read nothing but good comments the thing is, it seems to me that maybe to enjoy this particular one I need to be american?
I might sound silly now that I write the post but being a wild west novel, I wonder if I need American culture lore to get it or if it may bore me before it gets better.
