Any book that challenges the way you look at things or trippy in general?

I'm not an avid reader tbh but through movies, video-game, tv series, YouTube, etc i feel that i always come across the same stuff over and over. It feels that all the stories look all the same, always the same generes, formulas, values, morality etc. Even masterpieces don't intrigue me. Same goes for topics like philosophy and science. It feels like there's nothing new to be seen.
So I'm looking for something grotesque and weird (not absurdit) but still reasonable. Bonus point if there's some unusual philosophy, stuff that doesn't make sense just because we are told so. I want something to tickle my brain. What do you suggest?
