Probably not my all time favorite but certainly a recent listen I thoroughly enjoyed as a solo, non-dramatized narration title (one narrator for each of two parts) …
“We Must Be Brave” by Frances Liardet. Beautifully written story and performance. First person. Feels like reading a woman’s journal, although not in linear fashion.
My absolute favorites are Bloody Jack by LA Meyer, and Dracula as read by Steven Fox Garnett on YouTube. (I also just listened to a full cast recording of Good Omens, I would listen to David Tennant read the dictionary)
Genesis echo by d. Hollis Anderson – brand new audiobook
Tim Dorsey – *Triggerfish Twist*. One of the rare audiobooks I managed to listen to fully. Great narrator, and you can find it on YouTube for free.
