Does anyone have any suggestions for a GOOD audiobook? Doesn’t matter the genre as long as it’s fiction…I struggle to listen to audibooks so I want something that will captivate me! Something with good narrators, something fun to listen to!

Strongly suggest mistborn if you haven’t already gone through the trilogy
Anything written by Terry pratchett usually has me laughing out loud while listening
Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King, but it’s not fun, good narration though. For fun I’d suggest the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, the first book is [One For The Money](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6853.One_for_the_Money) and/or the Miss Fortune Mystery series by Jana DeLeon, the first book is [Louisiana Longshot](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18663492-louisiana-longshot).
I would recommend superpowered the first book is a little slow but the narrator and the story is great
I would also recommend the dungeon crawler carl books their hilarious and the narrator great
James Marsters (actor who played Spike on *Buffy*) does an excellent narration for the *The Dresden Files* series, fantasy / noir hybrid.
Dark Matter, by Blake Crouch – This is very captivating, narrator is great, it looks like it was written to television, as it’s thrilling and you don’t want to stop “reading”.
The Dispatcher trilogy, by John Scalzi – Also really good, they’re short, but they’re “free” on Audible (they’re included in the Plus catalog).
Jim Dale narrating the Harry Potter books is 🤩🤩🤩
“Dies the Fire” by S.M. Sterling. I listened to the first three in the series and loved them.
I heard the Hail Mary Audiobook is good due to the musical component of the story.
“Fairytale” by Stephen King. Great adventure story. It’s looooong, but so good.
I’m currently listening to the Passage trilogy by Justin Cronin and I really like the narrator. It is a really good post-apocalyptic story which is one of my favorite genres. Almost done with the second book.
Before that I listened to All Sinners Bleed by S.A. Crosby and it was a great book and great narration. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by S.A. Crosby, really dark and gritty “Southern noir” thrillers, and I’m pretty sure all of the audiobooks have the same narrator.
edit: neither one of those are fun. they’re dark. but interesting stories haha.
I’m gonna fall back on T. Kingfisher for fun. Nettle and Bone in particular was good and had me laughing the whole time. The supporting characters (a bone dog, demon chicken, the dust wife, and a fairy godmother that is only good at curses but is too nice to cast any) really bring it to life.
Lucy Foley’s audiobooks are fun and engaging with different voice actors for different characters! Autobiographies are often enjoyable audiobooks too, because the author often reads them!
Shrill by Lindy West
The Help by Kathryn Stockert
Thank You For Listening by Julia Whalen
Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey
Babel by R.F Kuang and Yellowface by R.F kuang. Both amazing and beautful books with amazing narrators
