So we have been listening to the cast recording of Six around here non-stop, which has brought up lots of questions from my kiddos (10, 13, and 14) about the time period and history that far outstrips what I remember from history class. Does anyone have recommendations for a book I could read with them that covers the topic that isn’t too dry and doesn’t get too into the sex stuff (some discussion of sex is fine, but… 10 year old). Bonus if it has pictures! They’re all advanced and capable readers. Thanks!
