I’ve recently gotten into exploring contemporary Japanese literature, which has been a really enjoyable endeavor. Currently reading “What you are looking for is in the library” which is a collection of warmhearted short stories about five individuals in japan who all have their lives changed with a book recommendation from a special librarian. I want to continue exploring Japanese literature but I’m having trouble finding any queer recommendations that aren’t just Yukio Mishima. Anyone have any suggestions (preferably featuring queer men, but open to recommendations of all queer identities)?!
