To be fair, I read the first 10 pages and then put it on the shelf for a good couple weeks again. Then I picked it back up again, and I've never wanted a book to last forever. The turns, the twists, the embellished descriptions and the gore… I loved it all.
The maincharacter is so fleshed out and all the men she encounters have something interesting. The women she talks about and meets, though few, are fleshed out and interesting with their own quirks and fears.
But… now I'm stuck. I want to read more stories that have this exact feel and level of horror, but have a lot of trouble picking one!
I'd love recommendations that fit the vibe and style of this book. Length does't necessarily matter too much, as long as it's not bible-length since I do get the Big Book Fear…
I am aware of Summers other book, An Excellent Host, but I have trouble getting my hands on it or finding it as an E-book.
