Help me find a book. Here is what I'm looking for.
It should be a fantasy book.
It should be/have mature themes. So not YA.
It should be set in a medieval ish time period.
The main character should be male.
The book can have, but does not need to have, magic.
It should be obvious who is the main character.
There should ideally be romance or romantic encounters for the main character. I won't turn down a book if they don't have it though.
Ideally there is a single pov or the majority of the book should follow the main characters pov. I understand this is difficult to fulfill and still have the book be well written and not YA.
The main character should ideally be a little bit of a lone wolf, it is okay for them to have friends but for the most part the character should be exploring the world on their own. Kaladin from the first book is a good example of what I mean.
The main character should ideally become more powerful throughout the book.
The main character should not be famous or anything like that from the start. Zero to hero is more appealing. It's okay if they are a chosen one if it's done in a nice way.
I have already read the name of the wind, way of kings, prince of thorns, the blade itself, blood song, the lies of Locke lamora, the warded man. Thee are more I have read, but that's what I can recall so far.
