Hello friends! I have a New Years resolution to pick up reading again this year, since for some reason I’d stopped for about 6 year, and recently this goal has led me to finishing “The Haunting of Hill House,” by Shirley Jackson. I loved every second of it, but now that I’ve finished it I’m not sure what to read next.
What are some book recommendations you would give to new readers (I’m 22)? I’m preferably looking to stay away from big series like Percy Jackson. Books I’ve liked in the past are Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Animal Farm by George Orwell, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, and My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George.
