Hey everyone nice to be apart of the community :). I want to get into romance books but would prefer a male pov of a hopeless romantic around mid 20s. Preferably a happier ending book as I have seen other recommendations but there pretty depressing. Thank you all

The **Songs of a Sentimental Bloke**, by C. J. Dennis
A sequence of poems, written in early 20th century Australian vernacular, which are essentially a love story from a young man’s point of view.
Our hero Bill is a bit wild – he drinks, gambles, gets into fights in the street…he’s a bit of a menace! – but then he meets Doreen, falls in love with her…and wants so badly to be a man she can be proud of. Still himself, but a better self, because the man she seems to believe he is is a good man.
When this was published around the time of WW1, it was wildly popular with young men of about Bill’s age. Special editions were published that were just the right size to fit in the front tunic pocket of an Australian army uniform.
The pov switches off between the male and female main characters but you might like Blood Meridian by Vela Roth. The male pov, Lio, is a total sweetheart
Edit: Blood Mercy!!! I meant Blood Mercy!! Do not read Blood Meridian if you’re looking for a sweet time
I’m intrigued by this concept I feel like I’d enjoy it so I hope you get some answers for us both 😂 I recently started Immigrant, Montana by Amitava Kumar and it may be a good fit – I at least recommend looking at the synopsis!
