I was reading a romance book the other day with the premise of arranged marriage to love. But I was wondering if there are any book in existence right now which the premise of arranged marriage but it was a fake son? Hear me out if this is not a thing: A kingdom is struggling fanatically. In response to this what is the natural thing to do?? That’s right marry of the only daughter of the king to the much more wealthy neighboring country. However after the marriage the woman comes to find that the eldest and only “son” that she thought she married was actually the eldest daughter. Now this is no mistake as it turns out the neighboring king had no sons. This is due to the fact that his first wife died in the birth of what would have been twins boy and girl his second wife had only had two daughters. Every one though that it had the kings wife and the baby girl that had died when in reality it was the son who died but the king did not think he would ever marry again and needed an heir.
Idk I think this would be a really cool book and a cool story to read on the love front.
