I’m looking for novels or short stories (have to be fictional) which explore domestic work in some way. A popular example would be “The Help”.
It doesn’t have to be the main theme, but needs to be present. Especially interested in anything that represents immigrant women’s experience in domestic work in the US, but not necessarily.
Very specific I know, I would be very thankful for suggestions!

The Door – Magda Szabo
Weekend, by Faye Weldon. It’s a short-story and it made quite the impression on 20-year-old me. No immigrant in there, it’s all white middle-class characters, but it’s the central theme.
