hi. I’m new here. I am looking for books with very little or no romance. I like horror, chrime and thriller, fantasy, gor, violence, action and science fiction. The only type of books I don’t like are those with romance, non-fiction books and slow-paced books. I can only read fast-paced books as I lack the patience to read those which are slow-paced.

    1. All of RF Kuang’s books (Poppy War, Babel, Yellowface) are fantastic and have no romance

Skyward by Brandon Sanderson (YA, sort of Top Gun meets Star Wars)

All Systems Red by Martha Wells (first in a series of sci fi novellas)

Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs (fantasy, a little romance but more focus on other things, book about magic books)

Weyward by Emilia Hart (magical realism)

    2. Storm of Steel. Its the autobiography of a WW1 veteran, and basically starts on his first day in combat and ends when the war does.

Hell, I don’t even think that book has a single woman in it, although there might be a nurse or two at times when Junger is injured, there’s certainly no romance.

It is nonfiction, but its much more fast paced and interesting than most fiction books I’ve read, and if you didn’t know it was real you’d swear Junger had plot armor with how much he managed to survive.

      Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy

      The Road by Cormac McCarthy

      The Dunwich Horror by Lovecraft

The Shadow over Innsmouth by Lovecraft

The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton
