I read Giovanni’s Room at the end of last year and it is a book that has profoundly impacted me. As a queer woman, I weirdly feel like I have been impacted by a lot of books written by men about men who love men, so am looking for something by and about women! Baldwin’s prose and his use of metaphor and imagery is just so brilliant my god and I would love a similar reading experience but for books about queer women <3
