Good day,
I love to read realistic fiction and Kawakami type stuff, I gravitate toward books in other cultures than the US typically, not a requirement though. Memoirs are always interesting to me, and so are fictional memoir types (idk what it’s called). But I find they can root my thinking a little too much into romance and it causes me issues in my own personal relationships and doubting whether they are as “good” as the fictional or someone else’s. I want books that make you appreciate other things in life— Hobbies, friends, random people and situations, the mundane. It’s ok if there’s some romance topics involved but preferably not as the main point.
Please recommend if you can 🙂
