Hi, I'm interested in finding a book series centered around a private investigatior set in the 1920s/30s.

I've found a few interesting ones like 'The Blitz Detective' and a noir book called 'Mere Smoke'. (Although from I can tell Mere Smoke, is not much of a detective story).

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

(On mobile, sorry for any mistakes).

EDIT: I should probably add that I've read and enjoyed many of Agatha Christie's books as well as the Cuckoo's Calling and Sherlock Holmes 🙂

Volker Kutscher has a series set in 1920s Berlin, if that appeals?

You could also try Kerry Greenwood’s Phryne Fisher series. 1920s Melbourne

Easy. “Maisie’s Dobbs” series by Jacqueline Winspear. I think she’s easily my favorite all-around female protagonist, series or standalone, any genre.

Great audiobooks read by Orlagh Cassidy.

Some of Patricia Wentworth’s “Miss Silver” novels are written and set in the 20s/30s. If you like Christie’s Marple books, you’ll likely enjoy Miss Silver!
