TLDR: Looking for my next read. I like new adult fantasy/light romance and/or exciting plots. Happy to try any genre though. Not picky over details, and the deciding factor if I like a book or not is always the characters.
I’m after my next read and I honestly don’t know where to start!
My last 12 months of reading have (mainly) been the SJM collection (all 16) with a few palette cleansers.
I really like books that have characters I love, I love gripping plots and whatnot – but I also like not having to think that much. Epic world building or a billion characters sometimes turns me off a book because after a long day of work I just wanna turn my brain off.
I mainly like to stay in the “new adult” section (e.g. characters present as 18-25 year olds) but wouldn’t mind finding adult too (also don’t hate YA)

– Throne of glass series – SJM
– Happy Place – Emily Henry (but not Booklover by the same author).
– Skyward – Brandon Sanderson (only read the first two so far)
– the invisible life of Addie la rue – ve schawb

– fourth wing – Rebecca Harris
– jade city – Fonda Lee
– lightlark – Alex aster
– the inheritance games – Jennifer Lynn Barnes
