All my life I’ve struggled with ADHD and reading has been an issue. I could never bring myself to read as a kid.

Off late I’ve been exploring philosophy and spirituality. I came across various pieces of literature and philosophical thinking by Rabindranath Tagore and it moved me deeply.

I’m very interested in reading books that help me grow and think. Since I’m not much of a reader, I’m very confused as to where I should start.

    Any suggestions?

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. I could not recommend this book enough!! An easy read that’ll have you reflecting on yourself and the world around you and will lead you to have constant “light bulb” moments.

Depression and the Body by Alexander Lowen is phenomenal and will lead you to understand why you are the way you are.

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse is great as well.

Albert Camus’ “The Myth of Sisyphus” might grab hold of you, or it might be an overly difficult starting point, I’m not sure. I have an ADHD brain and I really enjoyed it.
